Bill Hipple has been singing in progressive rock, hard rock, classic rock, country rock, soul, blues, and southern rock bands on the concert, club, and college scene, as well as lending his talents to various studio projects, throughout NJ - NY- Ct - Pa since 1969.

With a powerful and natural 3-plus octave vocal range, a hint of smokey whiskey raspiness in his voice, and a firm grasp of pitch and vibrato control along with strong vocal dexterity, he has shown the adaptability to cover just about every popular rock band from AC/DC to ZZ Top.  Bill honed his singing skills while playing mostly in Southern Rock bands since the genre became popular in the early 1970s to the point where many consider him "the Voice" of Southern Rock in the quad-state area. His powerful rocking soulful bluesy vocals translate easily to handling the varying song stylings of Paul Rodgers, given that Rodgers himself influenced many of the major Southern Rockers, especially the late Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Being a part of 6 GUN SOUND, and paying tribute to Paul Rodgers, is a true labor of love for Bill.
